Position responsibilities are as follows: Servicing and repairing of customers’ equipment (field and in shop), Startups testing of equipment in the field, traveling to job sites and quoting of repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Load bank testing of new and used generator sets
  • Assist with answering customer’s inquiries and troubleshooting questions
  • Maintain accurate information to enable prompt answers to the customer
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems with controls and mechanical systems
  • Repair of customer and MQ owned power generation equipment
  • Guiding less experienced technicians in the repair of equipment as required
  • Contribute and communicate solutions with others
  • Flexibility in order to be dispatched to different client locations for service
  • Assist in creation of technical information documents
  • Ability to work overtime as requested
  • Overnight travel as required
  • Maintain company vehicle
  • Must have own tools
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications

  • One year Electrical Certification from a junior college or trade school; 3 Years Generator/Electrical troubleshooting experience required. 
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to schedule time effectively.
  • Ability to create and maintain strong relationship.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 60% - 80% of the time in assigned territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

 

 

COVID Vaccine Requirement

  • Base pay + annual bonus
