  • Overview

    Position responsibilities are as follows: Servicing and repairing of customers’ construction equipment (field and in shop), Startups testing of equipment in the field, traveling to job sites and quoting of repairs.


      • Responsible for managing the day to day service operations for MQ Construction Equipment in the assigned territory, scheduling customer training, customer inquiries and reporting/monitoring of product issues in the field
      • Acts as a liaison with customers and Product Managers to identify technical problem areas within assigned product group, report on technical problems on unassigned products
      • Responsible for reporting customer contact information, service issues, region activity, call reports and itineraries through OnContact and Outlook
      • Responsible for developing and maintaining the ASC network in assigned region
      • Responsible for warranty inspection, verification and authorization in assigned region
      • Assists in the development of training material for assigned products
      • Provides timely and accurate information to Product Managers and Vendors using MI reporting system
      • Assists with creation and review process of service bulletins, FAQ, Parts/Operation Manuals and service instructions
      • Performs other duties that may be assigned


    • Ability to travel up to 80% of time
    • 3 - 5 Years troubleshooting construction equipment experience required.   
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.               
    • Individual must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in different units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals as well as understand complex mathematical or logical functions. 
    • The ability to compute rate, ratios and percentages along with the ability to draw, create and interpret graphs is of significant importance.              
    • This person must possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to a wide array of facts and assimilated information to develop and carry out projects and make recommendations that are cost-effective, efficient to lead the company toward accomplishing short and long-term goals.

    Must hold a valid driver’s license and Passport


    Travel Requirements

    Travel is a major requirement of this position. In addition to scheduling regular customer visits, you must have the flexibility to meet demands for unscheduled travel within the territory.

    Ability to travel by vehicle or air up to 80% of the time within North America is required.

    Office days may be scheduled, but regular travel throughout the territory is required.
