Overview

This position is responsible for the day-to-day administrative activities of the Remanufacturing department for MQ Power Equipment. Responsibilities include quoting, ordering, coordinating, planning, scheduling and communicating between customers and the remanufacturing production team. The Remanufacturing Coordinator serves as the main point of contact between MQ and the customer in coordinating the timing of units/components in and out with MQ` s customers and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Quoting
  • Coordinate inbound units with the customers.
  • Work closely with production team, service coordinator, supervisors and purchasing
  • Assist with purchasing of components to support the remanufacturing line
  • Maintain remanufacturing file
  • Verifies that preliminary inspection reports are filled out and sent to customer
  • Verifies that service notifications are open on SAP
  • Verifies that production orders are created on SAP
  • Creates sales orders on SAP
  • Generates PO’s to vendors on SAP
  • Record unit information (Warranty, EPA)
  • Work with engine suppliers (New and cores)
  • Coordinate with customer return of completed units            
  • Keep an open line of communicates with customers, co-workers, supervisors and other departments to continuously improve customer service.
  • Constantly reviews BOM, production orders technical information for accuracy and updates as necessary.
  • Contributes topics and solutions to FAQ database.
  • Manages transferring of materials to support the production team
  • Filing
  • Complies with departmental and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of administrative/customer service experience
  • Strong interpersonal customer service and telephone skills.
  • SAP experience a plus
  • Candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and have the ability to accurately and proficiently enter information into computer systems.
