Through ongoing field contact, provides support to and services existing customer base within an assigned territory. Additionally, performs account development activities in support of sales and product growth objectives.


  • Achieves budgeted territory growth through execution of territory and key account plans.
  • Builds strong relationships with and assures optimum customer satisfaction within the territory.
  • Provides detailed sales call reports along with month end activity summary to Director of Sales, National Accounts, providing visibility on sales and customer satisfaction within the assigned area.
  • Gathers and records account contacts and data, updates as necessary and maintains detailed history on customers.
  • Attends and participates in customer events, sales meetings and Distributor/Dealer meetings.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge base of industry trends, competitive companies and their product and service offerings. 
  • Acts as company and product advocate.
  • Manages daily customer support functions for assigned accounts.
  • Makes and keeps regularly scheduled customer service appointments with assigned accounts, with a goal of meeting with each assigned account at least monthly; effectively responds to ad-hoc customer support needs.
  • Achieves or exceeds established sales growth goals.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned.



  • 1-3 years of sales experience in a B2B industry
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is a plus
  • Must be dynamic and energetic
  • Superior sales ability including excellent negotiation, presentation and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word.


Certificates, Licenses, and Certifications

Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.


Required Travel:

 50% travel is expected in this position.
