Ensures that Modifications and MQP240 production staff have the information, tools and supplies needed to perform their tasks with quality, speed and safety while meeting production schedules.


  • Monitors work being performed and advises as to better methods and corrects mistakes as they occur related to generator modifications
  • Creates, organizes, files and distributes instructions, pictures and schematics as needed
  • Reviews new orders for correctness and schedules weekly production
  • Reviews, edits and approves time cards
  • Organizes & files completed orders, input serial number details in SAP
  • Assists Engineering with new options (measures, tests, advises)
  • Safely operates forklift
  • Safely operates aerial lifts/cranes
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned


Supervisory Responsibilities                                                    

Manages subordinate Lead person who oversees employees on all generator product lines and direct reports.  Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these product lines.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Five to seven years related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in fast paced, constantly evolving industrial and/or commercial grade rental machinery production. Supervising staff in electro-mechanical assembly and test.
  • Must have experience in and knowledge of welding, fabricating and reading schematics.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. 
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram or schedule form.


Computer Skills:

MS Office, specifically Excel and Word

SAP experience a plus



Licenses, Certifications and Registrations:

Forklift Certification

Aerial Lift/Crane Certification
